NOVO AIRÃO - AMAZONAS, BRAZIL – The incident, which occurred last Tuesday (11), had repercussions in Amazonas.
The animal emerged from a forested area and, after being seen walking in a city square, took shelter in a truck belonging to the corporation, parked on the premises of the station.
Despite the rescue efforts, which lasted hours, after being sedated, the jaguar died.
The death of the feline will be investigated by the Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama).
