A plane that was used to transport drugs was found by police on fire near the municipality of Barcelos, in the interior of Amazonas, on Sunday (28).
More than 90 packages of drugs, 60 of base paste and 30 of Cocaine Hydrochloride were seized at a nearby camp.
According to the Federal Police (PF), after landing on a clandestine runway, the crew set fire to the aircraft and then fled through the forest.
Agents from the Federal, Civil and Military police went to the scene with support from the FAB Helicopter Squadron.
The seized material was sent to the Federal Police Regional Superintendency in Amazonas.
