An 18-year-old woman, identified as Ananda Souza, died after an accident on Saturday morning (26), in Parintins, in the interior of Amazonas.
Another young woman, identified as Evelyn Tavares, 19, is in serious condition.
The accident happened around 6 am, in the Paulo Corrêa neighborhood, and involved two motorcycles.
A surveillance camera at an establishment near the accident site recorded the moment of the collision.
The two motorcycles collided and the young women lost control and crashed into the lamppost.
Teams from the Parintins Rescue Center worked to help the victims, who were taken to the Parintins hospital.
Ananda's body was taken to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) and has already been released to her family.
The police will investigate the case.
