MANAUS-AMAZONAS, BRAZIL - The Reino Unido da Liberdade Manaus 2025 Samba School, which achieved 269.70 points, was awarded after the count held at the Gilberto Mestrinho Convention Center (Sambadrome) on the afternoon of Monday (3).
Mocidade Independente de Aparecida won second place with 267.90 points.
Third place went to Grêmio Recreativo Escola de Samba Vitória Régia with 267.8 points.
With the theme “Êpahey, Reino Unido! Mojubá, Gbogbo Orixá!”, the Samba School located in Morro da Liberdade, in the southern part of Manaus, brought a celebration of African-based religions to the avenue and took the audience on a true journey through African and Afro-Brazilian roots.
President Rangel Magalhães thanked the community for their efforts in attending and supporting the school during the parade and highlighted that this achievement marks the beginning of a new phase of Carnival in Manaus.
The group was the penultimate to parade and brought a performance full of symbolism. This was the group's 14th title.
