MANAUS-AMAZONAS, BRAZIL - The video was recorded when the fishermen were returning home.
A man known as Rosimar spotted the small armadillo on top of banana trees floating in the middle of a river.
The canoe approached and the frightened animal managed to escape from the fisherman who tried to hold it.
However, the armadillo was rescued and taken to a community where it was released.
There the animal receives affection from a girl, as shown in another video.
