AMAZONAS, BRAZIL - Garantido opened the 58th edition of the Parintins Folklore Festival on Friday night (June 27), kicking off one of Brazil’s most iconic cultural events.
On the first of three nights of performances, the red-and-white bull from the São José district honored the Indigenous peoples and celebrated the Amazon’s rich ethnic and cultural diversity.
The grand spectacle energized fans in the packed stands of the Bumbódromo. As with Boi-Bumbá Garantido, other competitive elements took to the arena stage throughout the evening.
Songs, dances, and elaborate floats captivated the audience, filling the venue with vibrant energy and joy.
The Parintins Folklore Festival continues through Sunday, June 29.
