Connectivity: Underwater fiber-optic network to bring internet access to more than 700,000 people in the Amazon

Installation of an underwater fiber-optic network begins in the Madeira River. Infovia 5 will connect municipalities in the Brazilian states of Amazonas and Rondônia through a combination of river and land routes.
