The project guides residents of the Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS) Puranga Conquista, located on the Rio Negro near Manaus, in planting native, fruit-bearing and timber tree seedlings in an area where a farm once operated. In addition to reforesting the land, the initiative aims to ensure short-, medium- and long-term income through the legal use of the planted species.
