Each of the six finalist groups had to research 100 hectares of the largest forest in the world in 24 hours.

Drones with bioacoustic sensors, robots and artificial intelligence were some of the tools used.
The six finalist groups, three of them, will share a prize of US$ 10 million dollars.
The money will be used to improve the technology they developed during the five years of competition.

Scientists from 70 countries participated in the competition.
