Communities in the municipality of Careiro da Várzea are isolated due to the river drought in Amazonas. Access to Curari, one of these communities, is complicated. The images show how dry the river in the region has become. Small boats reach a certain point on the watercourse, after which passengers have to walk up to 2km to reach another boat to continue their journey.
