Students from a State School had to push the truck that would take them to class, due to the poor road conditions. The students are residents of a rural community close to km 17 of Estrada do Pacifico, in the municipality of Brasiléia, in the interior of Acre. According to the city's education center, trucks and pickup trucks are available on these dirt roads, so that children can go to school, as they are difficult to access, making it impossible for other means of transport to travel. The City Hall states that the area must undergo repairs within 20 days. In February this year, Brasiléia faced the biggest flood in the city's history. According to the municipal executive, Brasiléia has more than 2,200 kilometers of branches for recovery and maintenance, due to the last flood.
