An accident between three trucks left a driver dead at km 1,050 of BR-364 between Acre and Rondônia on Tuesday night (15).
The collision occurred in the district of Extrema, already in Rondônia territory, but under the jurisdiction of the Federal Highway Police of Acre (PRF-AC).
The corporation did not release detailed information about the incident, but confirmed one death.
According to the PRF, the road was closed since 8 pm on Tuesday, when the crash occurred.
The National Department of Transportation Infrastructure (DNIT) of Rondônia was called to remove the vehicles and the oil that spread across the highway.
The health status of the surviving drivers was not reported.
