MANAUS-AMAZONAS, BRAZIL - The heavy rain that hit Manaus this Tuesday (4) of Carnival caused flooding in several streets and avenues in the city, turning some of them into real "rivers".
The impact on traffic and the routine of revelers created a chaotic scene in the capital of Amazonas.
The City Cooperation Center (CCC) responded to 14 incidents in several areas of the capital.
In the East Zone of the capital, creeks overflowed, causing flooding.
The collapse of a wall left at least two people injured in the South Zone of Manaus, during the heavy rain that hit the city.
Two cars were also buried after the collapse.
Seven neighborhoods had their electricity supply interrupted.
