The largest dried meat paçoca in the world, which became a symbol of the Boa Vista Junina festival, in the state of Roraima, was recognized by the Guinness Book, the Book of Records, and now has the official title.
The traditional delicacy of indigenous cuisine broke its own record and reached 1,356 kg of dried meat and yellow flour on Friday night (7).
The official weigh-in was part of one of the Guinness Book requirements. The event took place at Fábio Marques Paracat square, in the city center, where the fair took place.
The new brand surpassed its own record, recorded in 2023, by 92 kg.
After the weigh-in, the mayor of the capital received a certificate that made the world record official.
According to the Guinness World Records judge and responsible for Brazilian records, Camila Borenstain, the professionals' analysis was forwarded to her through reports.
The documents included proof of the quality of the scale, tare, weighing and distribution.
This was the first time that the party hosted a Guinness team.
