A group of tourists was surprised after encountering an anaconda during a visit to Neblina Waterfall, in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, in Brazil’s Amazonas state. The snake was found among tree roots at the site.
Ecotourism guide Mário Sérgio handled the animal carefully to show the species to the visitors. He said the action aimed to remove the snake from an area with heavy human traffic, reducing risks for both people and the animal.
The anaconda was relocated to a safer area with less human activity. Sérgio said he has worked in ecotourism for 18 years and has experience handling wild animals.
