This is a community of the Kambeba Indigenous Peoples, an ethnic group that originated on Brazil's borders with the Andean countries. Over time, they migrated to the region of the Cuieiras River, a tributary of the Rio Negro, 1.5 hours by speedboat from the city of Manaus. They have a community restaurant, run by indigenous women, and a handicraft group specialising in traditional Kambeba clothing, hand-painted with graphics. The Três Unidos Indigenous Community is located within the Puranga Conquista Sustainable Development Reserve (SDR). The RDS is made up of parts of the Environmental Protection Area (APA) of the Left Bank of the Rio Negro - Aturiá-Apuauzinho Sector, and mainly (85%) parts of the Rio Negro State Park (Parest) - South Sector. The region is frequented by tourists who go there to learn about the customs and traditions of the community's people.
