Around a ton of skunk marijuana was seized on Tuesday (21) in the city of Iranduba, in Amazonas. According to the Department for the Suppression of Organized Crime (DRCO), the police learned, on Sunday (19), that a shipment of drugs would arrive in the municipality. The investigations began on the same day and continued throughout Monday (20) and Tuesday (21), when the drug was seized in a forested area.
There were no arrests, but according to the Civil Police, investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest the owners of the illicit material.
