A snake measuring over four meters was rescued this Sunday (19), in the Três Marias neighborhood, east of Porto Velho.
The capture of the anaconda was carried out by biologist Marcos Fernandes, responsible for the volunteer project “Biologist in Action”.
Marcos said he received a call from residents who were already familiar with his work rescuing venomous animals.
Upon arriving at the location, the biologist identified that the snake was in a creek.
In addition to carrying out the rescue, the biologist also gave instructions on what to do if the population finds a snake.
In a video recorded during the rescue, Marcos reported that several factors contribute to the appearance of the animal, including the search for food.
