In the state of Roraima-Brazil, there are four thermal plants that use crushed wood (biomass) from reforestation trees such as eucalyptus to generate electricity.
Daily biomass consumption reaches 1300 tons.
The ashes serve as fertilizer for planting new trees in the same place where they were removed.
A sustainable and clean energy production model.
The four biomass thermal plants have an installed capacity of 40 megawatts.
Which represents around 20% of the average demand in the state of Roraima.
