A serious car accident was recorded on Thursday morning (13), on BR-435 between the municipalities of Colorado do Oeste and Cerejeiras, involving two people.
The accident happened while they were heading from the city of Ariquemes to Cerejeiras to attend the wake and burial of a businessman.
People at the scene reported that the car, a Fiat Siena, lost control near the Escondido River and fell into a bank.
The victims of the accident are the daughter and grandson of the deceased businessman.
The two suffered serious damage and were rescued by the Fire Department at Hospital São Lucas de Cerejeiras.
They were later transferred to the Vilhena Regional Hospital due to fractures suffered in the body.
