The last night of Carnaboi dragged fans of the oxen Garantido and Caprichoso through the streets of Tupinambarana Island, in the interior of Amazonas, on Tuesday 13th. In two trios, the official items of the associations led the public to delirium with toadas and performances, which also marked the opening of the season for the Parintins Folklore Festival. According to the town hall, around 15,000 people attended the festival. The festival didn't end until the early hours of Ash Wednesday (14). And if Carnaboi represents the end of Carnival revelry on the island of Tupinambarana, on the other hand it also represents the start of a new cycle for those who love the rhythm of the Bumbás in 2024.
