A large fire affected at least 12 commercial establishments in the eastern part of Manaus on Tuesday morning (3).
The structure of a distributor must be demolished, according to the Amazonas Fire Department.
The fire started around 10 am and the causes are still unknown.
The flames in a food and beverage distributor quickly spread to other establishments.
The operation to contain the fire involved more than 100 military firefighters.
According to the Fire Department, it took more than 20 hours of work and the last fires were controlled in the early hours of Wednesday (4).
The military personnel remain on site to cool the area and prevent a new fire from starting.
