A large fire hit the Ambev beverage factory, located in the Central-West Zone of Manaus, in the early hours of Sunday (5).
Ambev reported that the fires occurred in an external area of the unit and were quickly controlled by the fire brigade, with the support of the Fire Department.
The company also pointed out that production continued normally at the unit after the incident.
The Fire Department (CBMAM) reported that it was called around 5 am this Sunday and carried out a rescue operation at the site to prevent new fires.
In addition, the firefighters contained the flames, preventing them from spreading to the buildings surrounding the factory.
There were no reports of injuries.
