In the center of the capital, pedestrians and drivers saw important roads completely flooded.
Vehicles ended up being partially submerged and had difficulty navigating.
Employees at a basic health unit recorded drips falling from the roof of the building due to the force of the rain.
Despite the disruption caused by the rain, there were no deaths reported.
