In the Jandira community, located on the left bank of the Solimões River, in Iranduba, in the interior of Amazonas, residents were forced to move their homes from risk areas.
The phenomenon has already destroyed at least three houses since last Friday (18), forcing residents to take urgent measures to avoid further losses.
Images show residents themselves carrying their houses with their own hands.
Civil Defense reported that five families living in the affected area managed to move their homes to safer locations, avoiding new disasters.
The Jandira community has faced constant landslides.
The most recent occurred on Wednesday morning (23), affecting about 200 meters of extension, from the ravine to a section of the community's road.
Despite the new landslide, there was no damage to homes or interruption of electricity or local traffic.
In October alone, Amazonas has already recorded three other landslides in different municipalities in the interior.
