The scenario that unfolds in the municipality of Envira is expected for the entire Amazon.
The government predicts that the situation this year could be even worse than last year, when the biggest drought in history was recorded in the state.
Ten thousand people have already been affected by the phenomenon, which has also isolated communities, stranded vessels and caused problems with the supply of inputs in the municipality.
The video shows several boats stopped without the possibility of navigating to their destinations due to low river levels.
The grounding even caused water to enter one of the vessels.
Help was needed to secure it.
To date, 20 of the state's 62 cities are already in an emergency situation.
