The intention is to reinforce inspections on intercity passenger transportation, which is very busy at this time of year in Amazonas.

The Regulatory Agency for Delegated and Contracted Public Services of Amazonas (Arsepam) projects that more than 1,100 inspections will take place in nine days of activities.
The objective is to guarantee greater safety for passengers traveling to different municipalities in the state during the festive period.
The Department of Road Transportation (DETR) of Arsepam estimates that 15 thousand passengers will leave Manaus in nine days, bound for other cities in the state.
The Department of Water Transportation (DETH) of the Agency projects that 15 thousand passengers will choose to leave Manaus by boat.
In this mode, inspectors must carry out 300 inspections.
