Manaus welcomed 2025 on a night lit up by fireworks in different parts of the capital.
Thousands of people gathered at traditional tourist attractions such as Ponta Negra Beach and Largo de São Sebastião to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.
There was a lot of music at the locations, with shows by local and national artists.
At the Ponta Negra Tourist Complex, the New Year was accompanied by a fireworks display on the banks of the Rio Negro, lasting 10 minutes.
At Largo de São Sebastião, in the center of Manaus, the arrival of the New Year came to the sound of the Garantido and Caprichoso bois-bumbás.
On the stage set up next to the iconic Teatro Amazonas, the artists counted down to welcome 2025.
The fireworks display in the center of the capital lasted ten minutes.
