All the drugs were seized in the Solimões River, close to the municipality of Codajás, in the interior of Amazonas, on Sunday (5). According to the Federal Police, the "Triple" operation was carried out in conjunction with public security bodies in Amazonas. Also according to the PF, the operation aimed to intercept a large shipment of drugs that was being transported along the Solimões River. It was also reported by the police that the transport was carried out by a group of heavily armed drug traffickers in an armored boat. More than two tons were seized during the operation, in addition to six rifles, a shotgun, six grenades, various ammunition and an armored boat with four engines. Investigations are ongoing to identify those involved in the criminal act.
