The Brazilian Navy seized an irregular convoy made up of a pusher and two ferries that were transporting a load of around 6 tons of manganese from Pará to the municipality of Santana (AP).
The seizure took place on Sunday (9) on the Matapi River, in the municipality of Santana.
According to the Amapá Port Authority, among the irregularities found were those that compromised the safety of navigation, such as the lack of dispatches and documentation of an expired vessel.
The Federal Police and Ibama were called to check the loads.
The Navy did not say where the cargo was being taken or its origin.
