More than a ton of drugs were seized at a drug distribution center in the Novo Aleixo neighborhood, in the North Zone of Manaus.
A woman was arrested with a rifle, ammunition and two vehicles at the location this Thursday (25).
According to the police, the operation was launched as a result of a months-long investigation into a criminal organization.
The origin and destination of the drugs are being investigated.
The woman was sent to the Narcotics Investigations Department (Denarc) and will be presented at a custody hearing.
The illicit material will undergo expert analysis.
The investigations will continue with the aim of identifying other people involved in the criminal organization.
