A speedboat was destroyed by a ferry on the Solimões River, in Codajás, in the interior of Amazonas, on the morning of this Monday (30).
Two men were on board the speedboat when it broke down and was crushed by the larger vessel.
Videos made by residents of the municipality show the exact moment of the accident.
According to the son of one of the victims, the two men were unable to move the speedboat and were forced to jump into the river to save themselves, as the ferry was approaching quickly.
The images, recorded by witnesses, show the smaller vessel being crushed by the force of the collision.
The accident occurred near the port of Codajás.
Despite the scare, the passenger's son confirmed that neither of them was seriously injured.
After jumping into the river, both swam to shore and were rescued safely.
