The passion for Boi-Bumbá Garantido is constantly demonstrated by its fans in Parintins, in the interior of Amazonas.
Like that of artisan Valdineia Evangelista, who exalts the tradition passed down by her parents since childhood.
"It all started with my mother, who was in love with Garantido. So passionate that no one at home wore blue", commented Valdineia.
"The ox, the biggest star of the party, cannot be left out", said the artisan.
"Every year we paint the front of the house, mainly for the 'Alvorada' festival, with a route along the street of the residence", said Valdineia.
