The 2024/2025 cruise season in Manaus began this Thursday, November 21.
The MS Náutica ship docked at the city's port and brought approximately 1,100 tourists from various nationalities, including the United States and Canada.
During their one-day stay in the capital, tourists participated in tours such as City Tours and River Tours, exploring the cultural and natural attractions of Manaus.
By May 2025, Manaus will receive 16 ships, with an expected arrival of around 19,000 tourists, generating a positive impact on the local economy.
Most visitors come from countries such as the United States, England, Germany, Japan and France.
The tourists were welcomed with a performance by the Instituto Musical Vila da Barra marching band.
In addition, maps and bilingual service were made available at the Tourist Service Center (CAT) in the port of Manaus.
With 13 ships scheduled to dock in 2025, the cruise season promises to continue boosting tourism in Manaus.
