A boat carrying farmers sank near the municipality of Novo Aripuanã, in the south of Amazonas, on Thursday (1st).
There were no casualties, only material losses.
This is the third boat accident in the state in less than a week.
According to witnesses, the boat, identified as "Encontro das Águas", was taking farmers to participate in the Farmers' Fair, which will be held in Novo Aripuanã, when the accident occurred.
The sinking was reported five kilometers from the municipality, near the Bom Sossego community.
Before sinking, the captain of the boat managed to get close to the riverbank and the crew unloaded several regional products that were being transported.
The farmers were transferred to another boat so that it could continue to the city center.
There is still no information about the cause of the accident.
