MANAUS-AMAZONAS, BRAZIL - A double-trailer truck fell into a ravine over 10 meters high, early in the afternoon of this Tuesday (11), at kilometer 890 of BR-174, the highway that connects Amazonas to Roraima.
According to the Amazonas Military Fire Brigade, the vehicle was transporting vegetables, oil and margarine.
The team disconnected the battery and contained the diesel leak to avoid further risks.
The driver was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) and taken to a nearby hospital.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) were on site to carry out the necessary procedures and investigate the accident.
