The night before the 2024 Parintins Folklore Festival was traditionally marked by the Visitors' Festival, where shows by local and national artists were held.
For the second consecutive year, the event takes place in the Bumbódromo arena, the stage for the Bois-Bumbás Garantido and Caprichoso dispute.
In addition to the Festival spectacle, the visitors' party is an event to attract more tourists to Tupinambara Island, where the city of Parintins is located.
The Government of Amazonas estimates that 120 thousand tourists will visit the island, in 2024, for the party.
The 57th Parintins Folk Festival begins this Friday (28) and continues until Sunday (30). The show, which pits Caprichoso and Garantido against each other, has been taking place for over 50 years.
