The incident occurred on Monday (13) in Porto Velho, capital of Rondônia. The anaconda measuring more than 3 meters was spotted near the city's bus station and residents soon called the firefighters to remove the snake from the area. The video shows a young man holding the anaconda by its "tail" until the arrival of the soldiers who carried out the rescue. The animal's measurement was 3.2 meters, according to firefighters. After rescue, the snake was released into its natural habitat. According to firefighters, the appearance of snakes is common during rainy periods. At these times, animals seek a "warmer" environment in urban areas. In these cases, the recommendation is to immediately call a specialized person or rescue agencies and not attempt to handle the animal.
