The Federal Police operation was carried out this Wednesday (23).
The objective is to combat a criminal network involved in illegal deforestation and fires in the southern region of the state of Amazonas.
The municipalities of Boca do Acre and Pauini are targets of these criminals.
During the investigations, deforestation was discovered that suppressed 1,672 hectares of native forest located in Federal Public Land.
Fires also affected 2,368 hectares, resulting in environmental damage.
Ten warrants from the Federal Court of Amazonas were executed, including arrests, searches and seizures in the municipalities of Campinas/SP, Boca do Acre/AM and Pauini/AM.
