The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized more than 500 kg of drugs in an aircraft that was abandoned on a runway on the BR-174 highway.
Despite the seizure of the narcotics, no one was arrested at the scene.
The PRF received an anonymous tip that a plane had landed near Presidente Figueiredo.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police found a twin-engine plane abandoned on a dirt runway at KM 1,080.
During the inspection, the agents found a shipment with approximately 545.5 kg of skunk-type drugs.
The Federal Highway Police is continuing to investigate to identify the owner of the drugs and the plane.
