The updated data on the disease was published on Thursday (15) in the Epidemiological Report on Arboviruses in Amazonas by the Health Surveillance Foundation (FVS). The state has three deaths from the disease under investigation, according to the Ministry of Health. According to the report, between 1 January and yesterday (15), there were 1,383 confirmed cases of dengue in the state by laboratory or clinical-epidemiological criteria. Amazonas also has three deaths under investigation for the disease, according to the Ministry of Health. The deaths were recorded in the cities of Coari, Labrea and Manaus. The distribution of doses of the dengue vaccine to municipal health departments began on Thursday (15). In total, the state received 78,760 doses, and the capital Manaus is the first city to pick up the immunisers sent by the Ministry of Health, as a complementary strategy to combat the disease.
