Venezuelan refugees and migrants seeking regularisation and the issue of documents, as well as other services in the capital of Amazonas, received centralised assistance from Operation Welcome, the federal government's humanitarian response to the influx of this population into Brazil. Venezuelans were able to apply for temporary residence or recognition of refugee status in Brazil, as well as other documents such as issuing CPFs and registering for the federal government's internalisation strategy. Other services were offered by UN agencies and civil society organisations, as well as the Federal Police and the Federal Revenue Service. The work presented in the video was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic.
