Pink dolphins were caught in an unexpected and somewhat risky moment of leisure.
A video shows the mammals having fun, following and playing with the tail of a 5-meter-long alligator in the Itapará River, in Rorainópolis, in the south of Roraima.
The moment was recorded on video by a drone belonging to a tourist who was visiting the region.
In the video, it is possible to see at least two dolphins of the species Inia geoffroensis approaching a alligator, without showing any sign of intimidation.
One of the dolphins seems to be having fun with the movement of the alligator's tail, while the other follows its "brave" friend closely, even "pinching" the reptile's tail.
The photo was taken on November 1st by biomedical scientist Jhonatha Barros, 40, but was only released last Friday (22).
