An anaconda measuring approximately 6 meters was spotted crossing a section of BR-317, in the municipality of Boca do Acre, in the interior of Amazonas, on Friday afternoon (21).
The animal was reportedly fleeing the fires recorded in that region, known as the "arch of fire", according to the Amazonas Military Fire Department (CBMAM).
According to firefighters, they were called by members of the public, who reported the presence of a snake in a pasture area.
In the images, it is possible to see some people trying to move the animal away from the road.
After arriving at the location, the military captured the animal, which was released into a forest area to return to its natural habitat.
