MANAUS, BRAZIL — Brazil's Federal Police destroyed 80 firearms on June 15 and 16 during an operation conducted in partnership with the Brazilian Army.
The measure is part of institutional procedures for the management and disposal of seized weapons, carried out in strict compliance with court orders and applicable security protocols.
The destruction of the firearms represents another important step toward strengthening public security, permanently removing weapons from circulation that could otherwise be used in criminal activities.
