AMAPÁ, BRAZIL — A Fire Department team was called on Saturday (19) to attend to an unusual occurrence: a snake was coiled in the engine of a vehicle in the Zerão neighborhood, south zone of Macapá.
The military team from the Auto Search and Rescue (ABS) of the 1st Fire Battalion (1st GBM) arrived at the scene with the proper equipment and safely removed the snake.
After the rescue, the team went to the Biopark of the Amazon, where the snake was released in a safe area. The species was identified as an anaconda, approximately 1.5 meters long.
Videos recorded by a local resident show the work of the firefighters as they removed the snake from the car engine and released the animal in a safe area.
