The Amazon Museum - Musa, has a place for studying the region's arachnids. There, visitors can get an idea of the differences between species and their behaviour. "We currently have fourteen species of arachnids, including spiders for example, we also have an amblypygio, we have a thelyphonido, and some opiliones, they are orders. Within the arachnid class we have eleven different groups, of which we have five in the House of Arachnids. Getting to know a bit about the ecology of these animals is well received by visitors, people are surprised by a number of details that we comment on here," said Tiago Carvalho, zoologist. Musa carries out research to disseminate and popularise science and scientific and cultural education in Amazonas.
