Two fairs that are very popular with the population of the capital of Amazonas are: The Banana Fair and Manaus Moderna. Both are located in the city centre and receive goods and products from other states and municipalities in the interior to supply commerce and other fairs throughout Manaus. The Banana Fair also sells other types of fruit such as oranges, watermelons and so on. The Manaus Moderna Fair, on the other hand, not only sells fish of all kinds, but also beef, pork and chicken. Vegetables and fruit are also sold there.
