Those travelling from Manaus to rural communities by boat from the Davi Marina in Tarumã, in the west, are facing the severe drought of the rivers in Amazonas this year. The area is bathed by the River Negro, but the current situation has changed the landscape. The site is completely dry and passengers are finding it difficult to board and disembark both in the capital and in communities in the metropolitan region.
