In two months of operation in the interior, Operation Aceiro 2024 fought 4,276 fires.

The mission has intensified its work by sending military personnel, vehicles and equipment to municipalities with the greatest demands.
The Amazonas Military Fire Department highlights that the operation is in the second phase and should continue to operate throughout the Amazon summer.
This is the period of the year with the greatest demand for fires due to high temperatures.
According to data from the Fire Department Situation Room, currently, the three municipalities with the most fires fought by the corporation are Boca do Acre (915 fires), Manicoré (778 fires) and Humaitá (734 fires).
